This past year, I have pursued college classes through Running Start while I maintained playing cello for my high school orchestra. I am taking advantage of Seattle Promise, a program that provides two years of tuition to public high school graduates for them to attend any of the three local community colleges. My studies are focused on psychology and art history, as I plan to double major in those with a minor in music theory in my long term goal of completing my bachelor’s degree abroad. Beyond that, with those degrees, it’s most likely grad school will come after! A dream job would allow me to use both degrees—the possibilities of which I’ve already been investigating, and which I’d love to chat about with you. While tuition for the next couple of years is covered, other fees and incidentals are not, so I’ll be working and saving along the way.
